American filmmakers give advice at Vietnam seminar

Renowned American directors, producers and marketers will impart their advice and experience on the movie business to their Vietnamese colleagues at a Hanoi seminar this week.
The Directing, Producing and Marketing Cinema seminar, taking place Dec. 14 to 17, will focus on modern art direction, finding financial support and marketing and promoting movie projects.
American filmmakers at the seminar include famous director Jeremy Kagan, who is also the dean of the cinematography directing department at the University of South California (USC), producer Larry Turman and marketing expert Paula Silver.
The seminar is being co-held by the Vietnam Department of Cinematography and USC.
