Vietnam Airlines offers veterans, Heroic Mothers special airfares
Vietnam Airlines will apply special airfares for war veterans and people who have contributed to building the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Southern Liberation Day (April 30).
Vietnams Heroic Mothers, war veterans, ex-youth volunteers during wartime and armed forces heroes will be given free tickets or fare reductions from April 10 to May 31.
Specifically, elderly women declared as Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and soldiers of armed forces conferred with the Hero title would be given a two-way ticket on any domestic service.
Veterans and ex-youth volunteers who have retired will enjoy a 50% discount in fare rates on domestic flights.
The national flag carrier will give a 25% discount for domestic flight tickets to veterans and ex-youth volunteers who were born before 1959, fought in southern battlefields, and are still working.
